Mrs. Meyer made a career as a secretary at A.S.C. for over 20 years. She loved music and teaching piano. She sang in the church choir and remained steadfast in her faith. Her artistic talents were showcased in her paintings and gardening. She saw the beauty in everything and everyone. Bridge, golf, and great-grandchildren blessed her retirement years.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Donald (Donna) of Perham, MN; three brothers, Roger (Karen) Smith, David (Jan) Smith, and Rev. Larry (Rose Ann) Smith, all residing in Indiana; brother-in-law, Max Waterson, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Joan Smith and Darlene Smith of Indiana; three grandchildren, Nichole (Travis) Boyd, Glyndon, MN, Brian (Rahah) Meyer, Perham, MN, and Brooke (Edward) Adamczyk, Perham, MN; seven great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lucie, Molly, Danielle, Austan, Nathan, Dylan, and another one on the way. Preceding Phyllis in death are her parents, her husband, Norm, her brothers, Don and Max Smith, her sister, Marilyn Waterson, a daughter, Nancy, and an infant grandson, Nathan.
