Though the crew worries the cold weather may hurt the turnout this year, they hope to get close to the $3000 worth of coats they donated last year. Owner Paul Harrington feels passionately about doing good in the community and about helping children. He says, “Rain or shine, we’ll be here, no matter how cold—customers or not.”
The “Nightmare Before Christmas” will be running every night from 7 to 9 p.m. until the 23rd. Coats will be distributed to those in need on the 23rd at the event, with the remaining coats being donated to Columbia City’s New Hope Wesleyan Church. New Hope can be reached at (260)327-3707.
