Categories for the artwork are woodworking, pottery, painting, fiber art, textiles, drawing, pastels, metal work, jewelry, photography, glass and more. Some of the new and returning artists are Richard Heffelfinger, Susan Karczewski, David Mann, Ranae Jordan, Heather Davis, Joe Kelsey, Passages Artistry, Sarah Thompson, Kenton Ridenour. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and allow your work to be seen by many art enthusiasts.
In addition to returning artists, new and emerging artists are invited who have a fresh approach to offer. Most patrons of the festival are looking for art in the $125 price range and under.
As in the past, other activities will take place throughout the day such as children’s activity art tent, student art show, music, dance, chalk walk, carriage rides, the “Chair-ish an Artist” silent auction featuring unique decorated chairs, art demonstrations, and food vendors.
A portion of the proceeds from the silent auction will go toward an art scholarship for a Whitley County graduating student.
