Educational programs at Whitley County Extension Office

“Living with Diabetes” will be held at 1 p.m.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, diabetes affects 25.8 million people. That number includes seven million undiagnosed cases. Do you know the signs of diabetes, complication of uncontrollable diabetes or ways to manage your diabetes or a loved one’s disease? This program will answer those questions as well as provide recipes and food demonstrations for tasting.

”Going Once, Twice Sold” will be held at 7 p.m. Attending, hosting, and participating in an auction can be a great learning experience. This session will take a look at what you need to know before buying and selling, how and when to hire an auctioneer, and other savvy consumer tips. On line auctions have their own guidelines for success.

All programs are free and open to the public. For more information, call Cindy Barnett at (260) 244-7615 or 625-3313.
