Ross and Evelyn have four children: Larry (Josefina and the late Elizabeth) Clouse, Charlene (Mike) Zeigler, Earlene Klein and the late Denise (Gary) Craig; 21 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren—and counting with two more on the way.
The couple was married December 31, 1943, and raised their family in rural Noble County. Ross was a farmer and Evelyn a homemaker. They currently reside just east of Churubusco. The reunion was held at a dear friend and neighbor’s farm and pond—the Rhodeside Farm. For three days, the family enjoyed food, fellowship and fun—swimming, games, sharing of pictures and stories (past and present), catching up—especially with all of the new babies. The family concluded Sunday morning with a family worship service led by Larry Clouse, who pastors in New Hampshire. Relatives came from North and South Carolina, Maryland, New Hampshire, Michigan and Indiana. Every living relative except one nephew and his family were able to attend—he was working in an orphanage in Mexico at the time.
