Richard Conrow, founder and owner of C&A Tool in Churubusco, stands beside his company’s latest acquisition, a Deckel Maho Milling Machine. The machine is capable of simultaneous 5 axis milling and turning. The part table will hold an 11,000 pound piece and can machine a 6 foot cube. The mill will be used for jet engine turbine production. Conrow’s investment is the latest of millions of dollars spent by C&A over the last several years. C&A has nearly 550 people on its payroll and is one of the largest employers in Whitley County.
