CHURUBUSCO — In 2016, C&A Tool Engineering announced it would be expanding locally, adding 51 new jobs.
Town officials approved a 10-year tax abatement on C&A’s $6.6 million investment at a town council meeting on Jan. 27, 2016.
C&A Tool has continued to grow its team of employees and expand its capabilities and has become a world leader in additive manufacturing and 3D printing for the aerospace, medical device and industrial sectors. In 2014, the company added specialized CNC equipment and 26 new jobs to expand its capabilities to serve aerospace customers. Established in 1969 as a premier tool and die maker, C&A Tool has become a national and international supplier of metalworking specialties.
