The Lady Eagles fall to 2-8 on the season and 0-4 in conference play.
In the first quarter the Lady Eagles kept it close as the Chargers took an 11-8 lead after one quarter. Busco missed their first seven shots to open the second period and West Noble took advantage of this and extended the lead to 29-16 at the half.
Eagle shooting woes continued as they went 2-11 in the third quarter. In the final quarter the Lady Eagles missed their first ten shots ending up 2-13 in the quarter. West Noble outscored the Lady Eagles 23-14 in the second half, on their way to a 52-30 win.
Audry Diller led the Eagles with eight points, hitting 2-3 from the floor and was a perfect 4-4 from the free-throw line. Kasey Gibson added six more for the Eagles. Alex Walker and Chandler Blake each had four points.
Morgan Young and Heather Monk each grabbed eight rebounds while Melissa Bueker added six more.
West Noble hit 19-41 for 46% from the floor to outshoot the Lady Eagles who went 9-30 for 30% and 1-21 – 5% from three-point range. Turnovers also plagued the Eagles as they had 22 to West Noble’s 10.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Prairie Heights this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for their last game before the Christmas break.
