Turtle Days fundraiser a success

Dear Editor:
The Turtle Days Association, Inc. would like to say a big “Thank You!” to all those who came to our recent fish fry at the Legion and TurtleFest 2011 at the park. These fundraisers are necessary to pay for the many expenses Turtle Days accrues throughout the year. The members are very appreciative of all the community support we receive and hope that you will continue to support us as our town hosts the longest continuously running festival of Indiana. We also want to remind residents that the next fundraiser will be a hog roast at the Legion on Saturday, November 19, starting at 11 a.m. This is something new that we are trying and hope that it is a huge success. Also watch for our annual Texas Hold’Em tournament to kick off our 2012 events in February!
Again, thank you, Churubusco, for all of your support over the last 60 plus years. We hope to make it at least 60 more.
Sincerely,
Turtle Days
