She worked as a licensed massage therapist and was a member of Broadway Christian Church. She loved people as well as poetry and reading. She married Mark Ottinger on May 23, 1981.
Surviving are her husband, Mark Ottinger of Cromwell; three children, Kari (Jose) Antunez of Ligonier, Justin Billy Ottinger of Cromwell and Bradly (Megan) Ottinger of Churubusco; four grandchildren, Keegan and Makynzie Ottinger and Eliana and Elias Antunez; two sisters, Penni (Mark) Sievers of Columbia City and Kelly Townsend of Burkett; one brother, Allen Golden of Jefferson City, Mo.; a stepfather, Lee Golden of Syracuse; a stepmother, Fran Rittenhouse of Monticello; and a grandmother, Josephine Sands of Huntington.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
A service was held Monday at Broadway Christian Church in Kimmell with Rev. Richard Rensner officiating.
Yeager Funeral Home in Ligonier was in charge of the arrangements. There was a private burial service.
