LIGONIER — The Community Foundation of Noble County is offering more than 50 scholarships in 2018.
To apply, students must visit the Community Foundation’s website, www.CFNoble.org, and click on the “scholarships” tab, watch the tutorial on creating an account on the new platform, Foundant, and take the eligibility quiz. Students are automatically matched with various scholarship opportunities within the foundation.
Once matched, applicants are reminded they must complete the 2018 Common Application within the system. This is not the Common Application associated with applying to area colleges. It is unique to the Community Foundation of Noble County and will direct students to answer three required essays and list school activities, school performance, career and college information, etc.
The new system will also direct students to contact two references to complete their applications.
All information is due by midnight on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018.
Questions can be directed to Jennifer Shultz at the Community Foundation by email at Jennifer@CFNoble.org or by telephone at 894-3335, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
