HUNTERTOWN — Sally L. (Stonestreet) Shank, 79, of Huntertown passed away Monday, September 18, 2017, at Parkview Regional Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born May 12, 1938, in Angola, Indiana, to Jay and Helen (Sloffer) Stonestreet. She graduated from Huntertown High School in 1956. She married Gerald G. “Bud” Shank on August 4, 1956, in Huntertown and he preceded her in death October 12, 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of the Huntertown United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Karyn (Mike) Wolfe of Fort Wayne and Linda Faylor of Fort Wayne; three sons, Lennie (Linda) and Kerry (Colleen) Shank of Fort Wayne, and Kevin (Dawn) Shank of Huntertown; 13 grandchildren, Nichole (Trent) Diller of Fort Wayne, Courtney (John) Arnold of Westfield, Troy (Tory) Shank of LaOtto, Kathryn (Ryan) Teagno of Fort Wayne, Darcie (Kyle) Herron of Avilla, Elaine (P.J.) Wilson of Fort Wayne, Anthony Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Amber (Mike) Faust of Churubusco, Tyler Faylor of Huntertown, Lauren Shank of Fort Wayne, Isaac Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Sydney Shank of Huntertown and Cameron Shank of Huntertown; 12 great-grandchildren and three on the way; a sister, Sandra (Sam) Gaff of LaOtto; and one brother, Tom (Sue) Stonestreet of Churubusco.
She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Gerald Shank, on Nov. 22, 1957.
Funeral services were Saturday, September 23, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Huntertown United Methodist Church, 16021 Lima Road, Huntertown, Indiana. Pastor Gabrielle Ginder officiated. Burial was in Huntertown Cemetery, Indiana.
