COLUMBIA CITY — Passages Inc. is hosting its annual Art Exhibit & Silent Auction on Thursday, March 9 at the Eagle Glen Event Center from 5-7 p.m. The Event Center is located at 125 S. Eagle Glen Trail, Columbia City.
“A terrific selection of paintings, drawings, photographs and ceramics promises something for everyone,” said Tammy Nickolson, public relations coordinator for Passages.
Proceeds raised from this year’s event will go toward the purchase of a slab roller for Passages’ ceramics, as well as photography backdrops, photography lighting, studio backdrop stands, an artograph mobile floor stand and training classes for artists. In addition, a portion of the sales will go to the individual artists, all of whom are served by Passages.

The Passages Creative Learning Center has a vibrant art program through Creative Arts which focuses on canvas, photography and ceramic art, as well as other areas of artistic expression depending on the interests and talents of its artists.
Other focus areas of the Creative Learning Center include senior programming, employment, multi-sensory, technology, healthy lifestyles, hobbies and interest, academics and life skills.
Passages Inc. is a non-profit corporation that was established in Columbia City in 1954. The organization currently serves more than 175 individuals, offering a variety of community-based programs and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
