Ober is seeking the 82nd district seat in the Indiana House of Representatives. He is endorsed by State Sens. Jim Banks (R-Columbia City) and Carlin Yoder (R-Middlebury) as well as Fort Wayne City Council President Mitch Harper (R-4th District) and Noble County Commissioner David Dolezal (R-1st District). Ober has pledged not to raise taxes and to oppose any public funding of abortion services. The 82nd district includes all of Noble County and parts of Allen, Elkhart, LaGrange and Whitley counties.
