Again, this year 4-H exhibitors showing 4-H Beef, Steer, Dairy Steer, Market Lamb, and Barrows at the State Fair will be required to complete a 4-H Animal Affidavit for each animal shown. The affidavit must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public by both the parent and the 4-H member. The notarized affidavit must then be presented at the registration table the day of check-in at State Fair.
An affidavit should also be filled out for each Rabbit Meat Pen entered at the State Fair and by each poultry exhibitor who enters meat type broilers or commercial geese at the Indiana State Fair.
Affidavit forms will be available at the Extension Office when you register for State Fair 4-H classes and pick up the yellow copy to take to State Fair.
