The Jr-Sr High School office will be on summer hours beginning Monday, June 10. The office will be open daily, from 7 a.m.- 3 p.m.

The Sons of the American Legion will hold a Chicken BBQ Saturday, June 22 from 11 a.m. til gone. Price of a half chicken only will be $6.
The Nashville Rebels will be performing there from 8-11 p.m. This event is open to the public.

You may have noticed the tie-dyed posters around town for this year's Turtle Days Festival. The Turtle Days Association is kicking it old school and rewinding time by bringing you “Oscar's Blast from the Past.”
In celebration of this year's theme, the Association is pleased to announce the selection of Tim “Papa” Holmes as the 2013 Grand Marshal. Tim is well-known around the community as the owner and operator of Papa's Place. Papa's Place, a hangout for many Busconians during the 80's and 90's, recently re-opened bringing a new generation to appreciate the breadsticks, pizza, and sausage rolls many of the citizens grew up eating. For many people in 'Busco, eating at Papa's and seeing Tim serving the same goodies from our childhood is a “Blast from the Past.”
