 Ivory Interludes Piano Studio recently held their annual spring piano recital at Good News Baptist Church in Churubusco. The piano students of Melissa Baughman presented a "colorful" recital as all pieces included a color in the title of their piece to coordinate with this year's theme: "Sounds of Color." Students participating in the recital are: Row one - Emma Targgart, Kendall Stuckey, Jaylynn Baughman, Lilly Hile, Faith Myers. Row two - Isabella Zuk, Bethan Myers, Mariah Targgart, Maddie Richards, Maggie Burita . Row three - Dalton Walker, Cora Myers, Sam Keily, Molly Geiger, Breanna Baughman, Brein Gross, Jarrett Stuckey, Isabelle Hogeston. Row four - Olivia Myers, Valerie Pope, Jenna Targgart, Zach Nolan, Cameron Crick, Sierra Bell.

 The Churubusco High School Calculus Class taught by Mr. Phil Brackmann toured two local manufacturing facilities on Thursday, May 23, to see how math is used on a daily basis in the “Real World.” They visited QIG, LLC in Columbia City, a company that does precision machining for gages and fixtures and operates an accredited inspection laboratory. They then traveled to Fort Wayne and visited Accutech Mold & Machine, Inc. that builds plastic injection molds and does plastic injection molding. Both companies supply to the automotive, medical, recreational and military markets.

11:30 Reckless driver pulled into Dollar General. Waited for him to leave. Stopped and warned for driviving habits. Also suspended infraction. Appears to be a bureau issue.
