Noble Rural Electric Membership Cooperative (REMC) will host its annual meeting/picnic for members on Saturday, June 2 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event will take place on the REMC grounds (rain or shine) at 300 Weber Road in Albion.
Registration and director elections will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. For registering, members will receive an attendance gift, a $10 energy credit and a pork burger lunch prepared by the Noble County Pork Producers.
Musical entertainment will be provided by “Spike and the Bulldogs.” Clowns making balloon animals and painting faces, pony rides, a petting farm, exotic animals, kids games, bouncy houses and other fun activities will be on site. The Ligonier Police Department will be providing Child ID cards. An electric car, Chevy Volt, will also be on display.
Informational community displays will include: Noble County Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Stone’s Trace Historical Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Drug Free Noble County, Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, Indiana 811/Holey Moley, Albion Fire Department, Albion EMS-6, Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Parkview LIVE and Parkview Noble Hospital.
Noble REMC’s displays will include their Energy Advisor Program, Power Moves Energy Efficiency Rebate Programs, Freedom electric water heater, geothermal heating & cooling, Crossroads Energy metered-propane, Co-op Connections and more.
