She was born on September 5, 1963, in Columbia City to the late Sherman Robinson and Clara (Miller) Robinson, who survives in Kimmell. She lived in the Noble County area all of her life.
At their home on April 17, 1998, she married Scott A. Mills who survives in Kendallville. On their 10th aniversary in 2008, they renewed their vows. Mrs. Mills loved watching movies, arts and crafts, camping and adored playing with her grandchildren.
Other survivors include three sons and two daughters in-law, Mark (Ashley) Borders of Kimmell, Josh Borders of Big Turkey Lake in LaGrange, and Andy (Abbey) Borders of Kendallville; two grandsons, Newman and Jordan Borders and a granddaughter, Jaida Borders; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Walter and Cindy Robinson of Churubusco, and Sherman Robinson Jr. of Fremont, and a sister, Vicky Bortner of Elkhart.
Funeral services for Nancy Mills will be Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 7 p.m. at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel with Pastor Glen Patrick from the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Kimmell officiating.
Calling is Thursday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. with cremation to take place after the services.
