Meeting of Whitley County Patriots

As in recent months, food items for county food banks will be collected.

Featured speaker will be Constitution teacher Keith Potter, a 34-year veteran of social studies education.  For the past 29 years he has taught U.S. Government, Advanced Placement Government, and Project “We, the People” at Homestead High School. A graduate of Michigan University and Ball State, he and his wife Jodi reside in Aboite Township.

Also on the agenda:  Terry Smith with comments about Pearl Harbor Day.

County councilman Jim Bayman will talk about Indiana’s open door law and the importance of citizens attending government meetings.

There will be a random computer drawing of 25 names for a free car wash compliments of Andy’s, and election of 2011 officers.
