Marvin J. Stauffer

He was married in Fort Wayne on December 20, 1986 to Linda (Hinkson) Scott.  She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Billy Douglas Stauffer of Fort Wayne, Cheri (“Spider”) Edgar of St. Joe, Chester Roy (Debbie) Stauffer of Churubusco, Colleen R. (Dan) Doberstein of South Whitley, Curtis W. (Dawn) Stauffer of Churubusco, Kristi N. (Doug) Tester of Huntertown, James Marvin Stauffer of Churubusco, John E. (Kari) Scott of New Haven, and Donna (Reynold) Yordy of Thompson’s Station, Tenn; and two brothers, DuWayne W. Stauffer of Spencerville and Larry A. (Linda) Stauffer of New Haven.  There are 25 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Stauffer; and by a sister-in-law, Betty Stauffer.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2009, at the Merriam Christian Chapel, 3985 South U. S. 33, Albion, with Pastor Robert F. Yawberg, officiating.

Interment was in the Eel River Cemetery, south of Churubusco.

Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco was in charge of the arrangements.
