Lady Eagles trying to find their way

Leading the bats for the Eagles were Taylor Amber who went three for four with one double. Nichole Sells went two for four with one double and Jess Tartaglia went one for four with one double and one RBI.

Mariah Herendeen went seven innings, faced 36 batters, and gave up nine hits. Herendeen had two strikeouts and only had two earned runs and four walks.

On Friday, the Lady Eagles hosted the Columbia City Eagles. Both teams scored in the first inning, but Columbia City held the Busco Eagles scoreless until they scored one in the seventh inning. Columbia City scored two in the second, third, and fourth innings and one in the sixth. Busco lost 8-2. Leading the way with the bats for the Eagles was Freshman Savannah Labenz. Labenz went two for three with two singles.

The Lady Eagles play again Saturday, May 1st at home against Northrop.
