Johnson honored by Census Bureau

Gerri Johnson was recently awarded a plaque for her efforts in making the 2010 Census a success. With the efforts of Johnson and the Complete Count Committee, the Chicago Region was number one in the nation with a 78% participation rate.
The nation undertakes this important endeavor only once every decade. At stake over the coming decade is more than $4 trillion in federal funds, accurate reapportionment of congressional seats and proper representation in state and local government.
