John Stinnett

He married Helen (Miller) Stinnett on July 4, 1944. He worked as a Pressman with Lincoln Printing for 23 years, retiring in 1981. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished his grandchildren. He was an avid reader and most important was his walk with the Lord since a senior in high school. He belonged to the Graphic Communications Union Local 260.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Helen E. Stinnett of Fort Wayne; sons, John W. (Barbara) Stinnett Jr. of Indianapolis, Jerry W. Stinnett (Partner, David Marbach) of Fort Wayne, and Steven (Nancy) Stinnett of Homosassa, Fla.; daughters, Nancy (Stephen) Lewis of Warsaw, Kathy (Randy) Neith of Churubusco and Susan (Todd) Rettig of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Merrill F. Stinnett of Marion; and sister, Venita R. Blake of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by two brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral service was Saturday at D. O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, Fort Wayne.

Burial was at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Ind.
