Jennifer is well-versed in the daily functions of the Auditor’s office procedures from dealing with corporate tax abatements to assisting the public with filing tax exemptions. She welcomes the opportunity to assist anyone with questions regarding their property taxes. By staying abreast of all the State changes over the past years with regards to property tax laws and regulations she feels it important that residents are able to get answers to their questions or concerns.
She truly enjoys dealing with the general public and making sure everyone is treated equally. She wants those who visit or contact the office to feel comfortable and have a better understanding of their property taxes and the functions of the Auditor’s office in the Government Center of Whitley County.
Jennifer is a graduate of Central Noble High School with a double major in Business and English, general studies at IPFW and finally Accounting and Business Management at Ivy Tech of Fort Wayne.
She resides in Smith Township near Collins. She is the widow of the late Chad McGuire and has two grown daughters, Courtney Cooper, who lives in Indianapolis, attending college at IUPUI and Amanda Cooper who resides in Chicago and is working in the Hotel-Hospitality management field since her graduation from Kendall College.
With her experience and dedication, Jennifer feels that she is fully capable of fulfilling the requirements of the position of Whitley County Auditor. Jennifer is hoping for your support for the Primary Election.
