CHEERS TO: Students at Churubusco Elementary School for their recent collection of non-perishable food items for the two local food pantries. This will help feed the many families we are currently serving every month.
God bless you all!
-Churubusco U.M. Church Pantry, and St. John Bosco Catholic Church Pantry
CHEERS TO: The following PTO moms; Heather Simmons, Melissa Nagle, Loretta Hile, Crystal Waggoner, Pam Pippenger, Tonya Stanford, Jamie Shull, and Kelly Peterson, for all their time and hard work they put in to give the picture book section of the elementary library a new look. They organized over 1500 books into 52 new categories the week before Christmas vacation. They then entered the new categories into the computer to help keep record keeping correct. They are awesome and the new book bins look fabulous. Thanks so much for all your help to make CES an even better school! AND CHEERS TO: Rick Green of Country Mill Cabinets and the awesome new book bins he made for the elementary library renovation project. They are great and the kids can now find books of interest in a more timely and independent fashion. AND CHEERS TO: Brein Gross who donated $99 to the elementary library renovation project by fixing up stuffed animals and having a garage sale and donating the earnings as well as giving all profits from her chickens as they lay eggs – beautification never was sweeter!!! Brein has such a giving spirit and her goodness bought a table and two benches for the newly remodeled picture book section of the elementary library. The table will be covered with pictures from discarded books and decopaged for fun.
