Green Township holds first 4-H meeting of the new year

CHURUBUSCO — Green Township’s Eager Beavers and Helping Hands 4-H clubs met last month at Green Center School with president CeCi Gierscher leading the group.

The club memebers elected officers for the new year, including Gierscher as president, Katie Shambaugh as vice president, Eva Refeld as secretary, Sydney Nelson as treasurer, Amelia Refeld as news reporter, Austen McGlothlin as song leader, Molly Abel for devotions, Sydnee Prizemielewski as recreation leader and Addy Winget as historian.

Color guard members were also elected. They are: Sarah Smith, Nate Moses, Colten McGlothlin, Ava Marks, Alyssa Marks, Charlie Gierscher and Ayden Kimmel.

The next meeting will be held March 6 at 6:30 p.m.
