God bless our veterans and those currently serving

The wars we are engaged in now will be years, perhaps decades, in producing the result we here in America enjoy. And to what end? It seems we are virtually throwing cash to the leadership in Afghanistan with no means of accounting for it. A corrupt government that has no control of itself.

Elected officials in America take an oath to protect and defend the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic. It goes without saying it would be a sad day for any enemy to try to attack America from without. However, attacking us from within is a different matter entirely.

The documented cases of socialism, its rise, and its fall in any nation who has implemented it is legion. During many of these instances America has been blessed to have had strong, warrior leaders who understand, and were able to deal effectively with these threats. As well as a Congress who, when properly informed, and included in the decision making complied with a President that knew what to do to halt these threats.

We now have an executive branch that seems to be taking the approach of divide, and conquer from within. Does this make a case for a domestic enemy? There have been many reports documenting actions that concern me. Particularly in the Justice Department headed up by Eric Holder.

A cell phone video of Black Panther members intimidating white voters at a polling place was dropped. If it had been members of the KKK what do you think would have happened? The Governor of New Jersey last week was cited by the Justice Department for two thousand dollars worth of over charges when he, Governor Chris Christie was Attorney General of New Jersey. That, by the way, was over a six year period. The Governor has since explained that those charges were as a result of hotels not having the government rate available at the time. That amounts to a little over three hundred dollars a year. Oh, yes, and by the way, Governor Christie is white, and a republican. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Besides, doesn’t Holder have bigger fish to fry?

The trial of the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks has been bungled so badly a trial may never take place. A civic trial was scheduled for him in New York City, the location of the murders of thousands of Americans. This was an attack on America from without. An act of war. Who in their right mind would even think of giving this man a Constitutional right to a civil trial? Now it is being reported they may try him in a military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay. This man, Kalid Sheikh Mohammed, has admitted to planning the entire assault. He has also admitted to decapitating innocent journalist Daniel Pearl on February 1, 2002. He stated in March of 2007 he “personally” beheaded Mr. Pearl. So what is AG Eric Holder waiting for? Maybe he is looking at Columbia City as a potential site for the trial.

The executive branch was instrumental in authoring the health care bill along with the leaders of many powerful unions. Andy Stearn, past president of SEIU, had made twenty-one trips to the White House. The most frequent visitor to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Why would a union boss do that? The Constitution specifically states all bills will originate in the House of Representatives. Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO also made many trips there. The Apollo Alliance actually wrote the 2,409 page bill which not one Representative read, but voted on, and passed it. The Apollo Alliance is a project organized by the Institute for America’s Future and the Center on Wisconsin Strategy. It is also a project of the Tides Center. Oh yes, Harry Reid credited the Apollo Alliance with helping to create the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, you know, the stimulus bill. Founding board members of the Apollo Alliance are Maria Cantwell, U.S. Senator, (D) Washington. Leo Gerard, International President of the United Steelworkers. US Representative Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D) Illinois. Carl Pope, Executive Director of the Sierra Club. The Tides Center provides fiscal sponsorship for progressive groups. Its offices are located in San Francisco and Presidio, California. As Senator Reid has publicly admitted to this organization as the authors, does that then make it unconstitutional? Hmmmm, food for thought.

The judicial branch, with the blessings of the White House, (Barack Obama), sued a sovereign state, Arizona, because that state passed legislation to protect its border with Mexico. Rather than help that state by sending troops, they sued it. Reports are sketchy but it is known Americans are being murdered in that region because an impotent, and ineffective executive branch, and a mute Congress will not protect us from enemies, foreign or domestic. To me, it is criminal.

Last week the Federal Reserve dumped six hundred billion into the system to “spur an economic recovery.” What they actually did was purchase six hundred billion worth of our own debt. Sort of like a person borrowing from one credit card to pay off another one. Same thing. The Fed chairman stated, under congressional oath, last spring, he would not do that. That makes him a liar, and a perjurer. This will cause massive inflation, and higher prices for everything. Noticed gasoline prices rising lately? So the mint will be instructed to print more dollars making them all worth about twenty-five cents. It is all a managed, methodical decline of the U.S. Dollar by inside entities.

As of press time, the United States of America does not have a budget. There are thirteen resolutions waiting to be voted on. Speaker Pelosi had no problem hosting a “reception” to celebrate her accomplishments in the 111th Congress. But she was not able or willing to bring the House to order to pass a budget. This is an appalling lack of leadership.

Remember those veterans I spoke of at the outset of this letter? Where was the President during Veterans Day? He cut out to India, and South Korea at a cost of about two hundred million per day. Men and women who served the USA snubbed by this useless idealistic academic who has neither served, nor worked a day in his life. God bless our veterans and those currently serving. He did pay lip service to the troops in South Korea. After all, what choice did he have?

In 2001, President Bush passed what is now referred to as the Bush tax cuts. Up until the past election there was no way the current occupant of the White House was going to extend them. The Dem’s got their rear ends kicked in the election, lost the House, so guess what now? They are talking about it. Just think what this means for the small businesses in ‘Busco? Imagine the paperwork that must be completed by January 3rd. For every employee a business has, new guidelines must be filed. An absolute nightmare. Again, such an appalling lack of leadership is unthinkable.

These issues I have written about are true. It is my opinion we are under attack by a domestic enemy. If you are one who voted for hope and change, and a fundamental transformation of America, well, you’re getting it. I am, too, and I don’t like it. This administration is a threat to our Constitutional Republic. It is time to take a stand, can America as we knew it survive? It can, and will because each of us has a vote. It is the one thing that sets us apart from all other failed countries. We are free. We can speak our voice. No one can take it away as long as we exercise the right. I will vote for hope and change, and a return to the America I grew up in on November 6, 2012.
