CHURUBUSCO — Churubusco High School will crown the 2017-2018 Snowcoming King Saturday between the junior varsity and varsity basketball games, as the Eagles take on Bishop Luers.

Underclassmen court representatives include: freshman Zane Burke, son of Jason and Crysta Burke; sophomore Josiah Peer, son of Aaron and Shannon Peer; and junior Nate Konger, son of Ryan and Shanelle Konger.

Senior Court King candidates are:

Bryce Geiger

Geiger is the son of Dean and Julie Geiger. He is a member of FFA, 4-H, FCA, National Honor Society and is on the football team. Next year he plans to attend Purdue University.

Mason Goniwicha

Goniwicha is the son of Robb and Debi Goniwicha. He is a member of National Honor Society and is on the baseball, basketball and tennis teams. His future plans include attending college to study statistics.

Alex Springer

Springer is the son of Chris and Shantell Springer. He is a member of New Era Show Choir and his future plans include studying nursing at Purdue Fort Wayne.

Kieran Wharton

Wharton is the son of Travis and Jennifer Wharton. At Churubusco he is a member of New Era Show Choir. After high school he plans to attend Purdue Fort Wayne to become a physical therapist.

Tyler Wilkins

Wilkins is the son of Ken and Toni Wilkins. He is a member of the high school band, New Era Show Choir band, the soccer team and he enjoys riding scooters with his friends. Next year he plans to attend college for music technology and pursue a career in music production.
