Driver’s License requirements change

When you apply for a new, renewed, amended or duplicated driver’s license, permit, or ID card after January 1, 2010, you will need to provide additional documentation. Only original documents or certified copies will be accepted. You will only need to provide these documents one time: Proof of identity – one document; proof of social security number – one document; proof of lawful status – one document; and proof of Indiana residency – two documents.
