CHURUBUSCO — Brooke Cretsinger, an eighth grader at Churubusco Junior High School, and her family organized a Home Décor Galore Fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The sale will be hosted by the Churubusco Church of the Nazarene. Collins Painting and Design of Fort Wayne donated a large number of decorations, bags, coffee cups, farmhouse décor, pillow cases and more. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the foundation.
Cretsinger was nine years old when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and has benefited greatly from the years of critical research, and is looking forward to giving back to the organization.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation dedicates research dollars to helping fund life-changing breakthroughs to make living with Type 1 Diabetes safer and healthier.
The sale is 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, April 13, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 14.
The Churubusco Church of the Nazarene is located at 1000 Whitley St., Churubusco.
