Toys For Dots
This holiday season, the Churubusco Public Library will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots. Starting Monday, November 23, new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the library and placed under the Christmas tree. All donations will be given to the Toys for Tots Foundation who will distribute the toys to children in need who may not otherwise receive a gift this Christmas. This year remember the reason for the season and give a donation to a child less fortunate.
The Grim Readers book club will be meeting Friday, November 20 at 5 p.m. at the Churubusco Public Library. This month the group will be discussing ‘Unwind’ a thought provoking novel by Neal Shusterman. Set in a society where unwanted teens are salvaged for their body parts, Shusterman tells a gripping story of three runaways fighting a system that would ‘unwind” them. All middle school and high school students are welcome to attend!
