Steve Merrill retired after 28 years as the Chain O’Lakes State Park Manager. He planned to sit back and relax for a while.
CES students participated in the Area 2 Circle the State With Song Festival on the IPFW Campus.
Parkview Whitley Hospital as well as other Parkview Health Hospitals started using sleep sacks. Newborns were no longer wrapped in blankets. The sleep sacks kept the babies warm and eliminate the presence of loose fabric around the face.
Jordan Hamilton was runner-up in the 160 pound class at semi-state, earning him a trip to the Wrestling State Finals.
Kindergarten registration will be held in the Churubusco High School cafeteria on Thursday, March 11 from 3:30 – 6 p.m. Parents of new kindergart- ners are welcome to come at any time during this period. Attendance by the new kindergartener is encouraged as the local Lion’s Club will be screening hearing for free.
