A community-based planning committee is developing an area at the Churubusco School campus to celebrate the lives of those who have passed away and those individuals who have dedicated themselves to the school and community.

Heather Shively has been named to the Dean’s List at Huntington University for the Fall Term 2009. Ms. Shively is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Mark and Lorie Shively of Albion and attends Blue River Church of the Brethren.
Two local students made the Fall 2009 Dean’s List at Manchester College: Samuel Ott, a first-year philosophy major and religion major, is a graduate of Cornerstone Christian School.
