CHEERS TO: The Busco seventh grade football team on a great season. Season standings were 7-1. Busco eighth grade  football team, you had a good season as well.

AND WHATABOUT: Busco Football sports fans following this sound advice that came on the back of every seventh and eighth grade home football program; Sportsmanship. Welcome to Churubusco where sportsmanship is an expectation. So please, let the players play, let the coaches coach, let the officials officiate, let the spectators be positive! Good Luck on the rest of your season, Eagles’ Football.

AND CHEERS TO: The NE15 and Mr. Hile on the wonderful performance of the “Star Spangled Banner” at Friday Night’s Eagle Football Game.

CHEERS AND: Good luck to the Churubusco High School Cheerleading competition squad, as they travel to Pendelton Saturday to compete in the IHSAA preliminary cheerleading competition. Your hard work for the last five months will shine on the competition floor. It’s YOUR turn in the spotlight,  and our turn to cheer YOU on from the sidelines.  Good luck girls!!! Love,

WHATABOUT: Bringing your children to the Churubusco Elementary Safe Trick-or-Treat event on Wednesday, October 27 from 6-7:30 p.m.! We look forward to seeing you there!

CHEERS TO: The most beautiful rendition of our national anthem I have ever heard. On Friday night as our Eagles won yet another fantastic game I could not help but appreciate over and over again the wonderful job that was done to honor our country.

I look forward to hearing more from this fine group of young men and women. Thank you.

WHATABOUT: Supporting the Churubusco Jr-Sr High Key Club’s efforts to raise money during the 60th Annual Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. This year, money is being raised for Operation Uruguay: Protecting the Rights of Children, a campaign that works to ensure the rights of Uruguayan children to education, health and basic services. During Churubusco’s trick-or-treat hours on Oct. 31, Key Clubbers will be trick-or-treating for monetary donations. Participating Key Clubbers will have an “official” UNICEF collection box.

WHATABOUT: Please forgiving me for having to leave suddenly during the high school Fall Concert. I have a chronic cough, that I could not stop! So forgive me dear friends and neighbors, Mr. Hile and your wonderful students. Busco does have great talent!
