Megan Alcock and Cale Brereton, both of Austell, Georgia, were married on Saturday, September 5, 2009.
The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Pastor Stan Ide at the First Church of God in Columbia City.
Parents of the couple are John and Linda Alcock, Columbia City, and Elma Brereton, New York.
The church was decorated with black bows with red roses on the pews and bouquets of red roses with babies breath. Musicians were Megan Burr, friend of the bride, who sang “Only Hope,” Connie Boggs and Greg Klotz played piano and Michelle Urban played bass guitar and flute.
The bride’s dress was a strapless white floor length gown with a long black ribbon. She carried a bouquet of red roses.
Jessica Wright, Churubusco, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shelby Krawczyk, Leo, sister of the bride and Ashley Guggenbiller, Ohio, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Samantha Krawczyk, Leo, niece of the bride. They all wore black knee length dresses.
Best man was Dakel Vicks, Findlay, Ohio, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Randell Brereton, New York, brother of the groom and Shimron Eccleston, California, friend of the groom.
A reception was held at the Eagle’s Nest in Columbia City.
The bride is a graduate of Churubusco High School and University of Findlay. She is employed by Cobb County Public Schools in Smyrna, Georgia.
The groom is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, University of Findlay and University of Northwest Ohio. He is employed by Global Imports in Atlanta, Georgia.
The couple is residing in Austell.
