CHURUBUSCO — Enjoy an evening of great food and community pride as the Main Street Churubusco Committee hosts the third annual pork chop dinner on Saturday, April 29, from 4-7 p.m. at the Scout Building at the Churubusco Park. All proceeds from the pork chop dinner will benefit the Main Street Committee’s mission to grow and revitalize downtown Churubusco.
The event is open to all ages and is $10 per ticket. The menu includes a one-inch thick grilled pork chop, potato salad, green beans and a homemade cookie. The meal is dine-in or carry out.
Tickets for the event may be purchased at the Town Government Center and the Smith-Green Community Schools administration building.
Pre-sale tickets are encouraged, although tickets will be available at the event until sold out.
The purpose of Main Street Churubusco is to enhance and create a positive atmosphere for the conduct of business and quality of life in the community.
This is done through a private partnership of pride to make the community a better place to live, work and shop, while promoting the town’s hometown appeal.
