Participants in the Wildlife Habitat Development Contest are challanged to identify nearly 100 wildlife species including birds, mammals, fish and reptiles. Participants had to know and be able to correctly match food sources for each wildlife species. Students also had to identify equipment used by wildlife biologists, evaluate aerial habitat photographs, and work as a team to write a wildlife management plan and later present that plan to a panel of judges.
