Bulmahn, Geiger were valedictorian, salutatorian of ’Busco’s Class of 2016

CHURUBUSCO — Anna Bulmahn was named the valedictorian and Reed Geiger was the salutatorian of the Churubusco High School Class of 2016.

Bulmahn graduated at the top of her class with a grade point average or GPA exceeding the threshhold of 12. Her GPA was 12.228. The daughter of Doug and Tina Bulmahn of Churubusco, she has two sisters, Emma, 16, and Amalia, 9.

Bulmahn was involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, cross country, basketball, tennis, was the girls basketball manager and also a delegate to Hoosier Girls State.

Geiger was named salutatorian after achieving a 12.148 GPA.

The son of Dean and Julie Geiger, he has two siblings, Bryce, 16, and Molly, 13. Geiger participated in cross country, track, National Honor Society, Academic Super Bowl, Leadership Whitley County, was on the Junior Achievement Whitley Board of Directors and was a delegate for Hoosier Boys’ State.
