Black Pine animal sanctuary to hold volunteer call-out

Black Pine is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides permanent refuge to displaced, captive-raised exotic animals such as reptiles, birds, monkeys, big and small cats, and bears.  This volunteer call-out is open to people at least 16 years of age who are interested in exploring the opportunities available to assist with animal care, education, housekeeping, grounds keeping, fundraising, maintenance and construction, and more.

Attendees are asked to pre-register for the call-out by calling (260) 636-7383 or by e-mail to blackpineanimalpark@yahoo.com.  Those interested in volunteering but unable to attend may still contact the sanctuary to request an alternative time to meet and learn more.  Black Pine is located at 1426 W. 300 N. in Albion, about 1.5 miles west of the intersection of State Roads 8 and 9.  For more information, including driving directions, visit www.blackpine.org or call (260) 636-7383.
