Baseball on a roll, wins three last week

 At Fremont, Braxton Siddons surrendered just three hits in six innings, while striking out six and walking one. Brent Owen came on to pitch the final inning giving up a hit and striking out two. Jordan Turner continued with his hot bat going three for four including a double and a home run and driving in three runs. Justin Norris added two hits in four at bats with a double that brought in two Eagle runners. Brent Owen went two for three and drew a walk.

On Thursday, Kyle Owen kept the Marines of Hamilton off balanced all day as he threw a one hitter. Owen surrendered one walk and struck out nine in six innings as the Eagles used the ten run rule to beat Hamilton 10-0. Dylan Herendeen went 2-3, Turner went 2-4, Brent Owen was 1-3 with two RBI’s and Ryan Farlow was 1-4 with two RBI’s and scored two runs.

Monday night at South Adams, Brent Owen pitched a complete game giving up four runs (two earned) while scattering nine hits. He struck out five Starfire hitters and gave up two walks. Farlow led Eagle hitters as he went 2-3 and drove in two Eagle runners. Owen helped himself as he went 2-4 and knocked in two runs. Turner was 1-2 with two walks and scored three runs.

The Eagles will play at Westview on Thursday and will host Adams Central on Saturday.
