Ann Wrogeman

Ann was born September 19, 1916. She was the daughter of William and Alice Heath. Ann graduated from Leo High School in 1934. Except for living a short time in Huntington, IN, she was a life long resident of Fort Wayne. Ann was a sales associate of Wolf and Dessauer Department Store and L.S. Ayres, retiring in 1982. She was a long time active member of North Christian Church.

Ann was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Shroyer; husbands, Clarence Shroyer and Paul Wrogeman; siblings, Roy, Virgil, Edward, Glen and Willard Heath, Mary Lewis and Velma Vought. Ann was an exceptional woman as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Her greatest loves were her family, her friends, family gatherings, and her church. She also loved to cook and play Euchre.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Robert) Henderson of Columbia, SC; daughter-in-law, Janet Shroyer of Churubusco; stepdaughter, Pam (John) Crick of Columbia City; grandchildren, Douglas (Michelle) Shroyer, Lori Fulk, Kathy (Ted) Hays, all of Churubusco, Craig (Cheri) Price of Naples, FL, James (Angie) Henderson of Mandeville, LA; great-grandchildren, Jaclyn Fought, Charles Pendergrass, Bailey and Kari Fulk, Shannon, Spencer and Shane Shroyer, Damon and Brooke Hays, Antonio and Angelina Price, Axel, Kilian and Izzy Henderson; great-great-grandchildren, Lilly Pendergrass, Dexter and Gavin Fought.

Service is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 3, 2011 at North Christian Church, 5201 Camden Dr., John Vickrey and Dr. Sam Young officiating, with calling one hour prior. Visitation is 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial in Bowers Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
