CHURUBUSCO – Churubusco’s softball team defeated Snider 5-1 Friday evening.

The Lady Eagles scored a run in the second inning. Snider tied the game when they scored a run in the top of the fifth inning, but Churubusco answered with a run of its own to take the lead.

The Lady Eagles put an exclamation point on their victory by scoring three runs in the sixth inning.

Churubusco had nine hits compared to Snider’s five. Senior Carlee Koldyke got the win on the mound and was 2 for 3 at bat, recording an RBI. Senior Calla Boruff went 2 for 4 at bat and had an RBI.
