Words cannot express the gratitude we feel, for the help we received when the barn burned on Thursday. From our observant Schwan’s man, Justin Gerber, who phoned 911 and then heroically ran to the barn to try and rescue any animals that might have been in there. Thank you to our nephew Darrell Resler, who heard the call and came instantly, and without his equipment, the fire could have spread to the other barn. Thank you to the Churubusco Fire Department, Wolf Lake and LaOtto fire departments and all who came to help. Also thanks to Myan Earnhart and many friends and neighbors who came to help and to move cattle to other areas. The support was huge and to each one of you, we are deeply grateful and pray God’s blessing and a huge thank you to you all. — Carol, Greg, Jenny, Kert and Julie Resler
