Jack and Phyllis (McGuire) Herendeen of Albion will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house Sunday at the Sweet Church Community Building, 3015 E. C.R. 415N, Albion, from 2-4 p.m. The couple were married Jan. 6, 1956, at the Churubusco Brethren Church. They have four children, Kathy and Larry Parks of Albion, Jackie and Kevin Bryan of Kendallville, Mark and Crystal Herendeen of Albion and Ray and Stephanie Herendeen of Clarksville, Tennessee. They also have 10 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Mr. Herendeen is retired from the Noble County Highway Department as a supervisor and Mrs. Herendeen worked at Dana Corp. and is the retired owner of Unique Boutique in Albion.
